Royal College OBA - NSW & ACT had a full house on the 17th of June when they held their "BLUE & GOLD TWIST" (The Family Night) at Castle Grand, Castle Hill, NSW.

Every guest, be it an adult or child, was entertained and looked after to the maximum by the organizing committee. As for value for money, this was probably the best event for the past 12 months and every one definitely had a great time.

There was the comedy/magic show for children the organisers had gone to special lengths to ensure the very young were well cared for, a special room was set aside for the children to watch videos with a full time carerer. The parents were able to socialise without any worry about their children.

There was a Bollywood dance show for the young adults and people like me .... the young at heart.

While the night progressed a surprise skit, beautifully written and hilariously acted out by Suren Viswalingam (as the interviewer) and Sunil De Silva (as the former school teacher).

Guinn Ragel and his band "Night Shift" played their usual fantastic music to keep every one on the floor. The music was great and it was great to see the floor packed every time Guinn was on stage. The meals were by Sunil Ranasinghe the well known caterer - dishing out a sumptuous buffet which included prawn skewers on a bed of calamari, served on a sizzling platter to the individual tables.

The organisers had made certain that every detail was attended to; even going to the extent of giving every adult a gift at the entrance.

It's hard to imagine how they managed to put on such a well thought out and stunning night out for just $30.00 . I am sure many others who were at this event would like to thank the Royal OBA for giving us to a memorable and enjoyable evening for an affordable price.
