Just over 21 hopper pans were fired up to keep the hungry men from the Great School by the Sea happy. It was a sight to see with an army of experienced hopper makers going at it non stop.
The food was excellent and the seeni sambol and butter chicken were in generous supply, served from traditional claypots.
At West Epping Hall was packed and we found two seats at the Treasurer's table. Everyone knew everyone else and the conversation varied from old school days to baby food. The Class of 56 reuinion at College and the hillarious photos that were hosted on the internet was the main topic.
Rukmal, the president and several others were in sarong and a few of the ladies were in their Redda Hatta. Creating a very jolly atmosphere and nostalgic memories.
We had to leave early and could not stay for the traditional baila that always follows dinner.
