The dinner dance organised by the Wesley Old Boys Association of Sydney was held on the 1 st of September 2007 .  The venue was the Dundas Community Centre.  The turn out was excellent and the tables were full.  The function went off well with hardly any room on the dance floor for much of the night. Many attendees expressed their appreciation of the music mix. There was something in that mix for everyone.

Music was provided by Nightwalkers Entertainment.

Catering with food to suit mainly Sri Lankan palettes was provided by East West caterers.  

The president Mr Nizar Sappideen made a short speech. He thanked his committee and all members who helped stage this splendid event.

The president drew attention to two forthcoming events that the Wesley Old Boys of Sydney were putting on.  They are,

• Feting Sri Lanka cricketer Mahroof (Old boy of Wesley College) at a function in early 2008. Mr Sappideen has made tentative approaches to the Sri Lanka Cricket Board to request the release of Mahroof to grace that event.

• Double Blue Ball to be held in May 2008. Mr Sappideen stated that this is not an event to be missed. He has many pleasant surprises planned for this event.
