On the night, the guests strolled in around 7:30pm to a hall beautifully decorated in school colours of blue and gold and received a copy of the souvenir magazine. The dress code was smart casual however most ladies chose to wear beautiful sarees of stunning colours.

The scrumptious dinner buffet catered by Siva of Blue Elephant had a wide spread for selection .Tables were called out to avoid unsightly long queues, giving first preference to kids  while the door prize draw took place. There were four aisles to server food which made the crowd move efficiently. The food served consisted of a mixture of traditional and western cuisine to suit the palettes of the young and the old.

The organisers made an effort to limit the number of interruptions to the dancing which seemed to be exactly what the guests wanted.
