The Old Wesleyites celebrated their first ‘Yule Tide Night' on 29 th November, 2008 at the Baulkham Hills Community Centre. Being Wesley's maiden venture, the event was very well organized and the small and delighted crowd had a wonderful evening.

The night started with the singing of some favorite Christmas carols by old boys and guests, with supportive music from the ‘Kopykatz'. Ray Jansz played Santa and distributed to the many anxious children their eagerly awaited Christmas presents.

The dinner with roast turkey and a varied selection of dishes, including Christmas pudding, was catered for by ‘Caterplan'. This was enjoyed by all.

Gordon and Clifford entertained the crowd with many popular Christmas songs and other well known numbers. There was of course, Sri Lankan Baila for the more energetic ones. The music was of high standard, which kept everyone, including the children on the floor.

The raffle was a big draw and surprisingly the first prize of the Christmas hamper was won by Romany McLean(an old Wesley girl).

The President, Nizar Sappideen and the rest of the Committee, wish to thank the members and guests who graced the occasion. Also a very special thank you to the numerous others who assisted them before and after the event.

The Yuletide Night will from now on, be an important feature in Wesley's busy calendar.
