Anula Spring Nite 2009 held at the Cherrybrook Community Centre in Sydney

The Past Pupils of Anula Vidyala in Sydney enjoyed their annual get together with a delightful crowd at the Cherrybrook Community Centre.

The Nite commenced with past pupils singing the school song. The Co-ordinator addressed the crowd and outlined the work completed so far. She thanked the guests for their presence and the support given for all the projects throughout the years. There was also a welcoming speech from Mrs.Premaratna, a former Teacher, Vice Principal and Acting Principal of Anula Vidyala, which was accompanied by a video presentation of the school and its activities.

The guests were entertained with music by the "Night Walkers" and dined a delicious buffet meal from “Flavor of Ceylon”. The guests were further spoilt with "Kalu" Tea gift packs, an onsite sari display stall and fantastic raffle prizes.

The organising committee is highly appreciative of the support of all who was present and all those well wishers who assisted in making this event a success.

The proceedings from this event will be donated to essential projects in Sri Lanka.
