The Night Belonged to Volunteers and Well-wishers………..Lak Saviya Foundation's Annual Charity Dinner |

About 100 volunteers and 600 well-wishers braved the weather last Saturday to gather at Roselea Community Centre at Carlingford for a well worthy cause - to raise funds for helping the needy in Sri Lanka. It was an ALL YOU CAN EAT style sit-down dinner. Each family or group of families or friends had one and half-hour time slot to enjoy their food and socialise leisurely in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu included tasty authentic Sri Lankan food – Hoppers, Rice & Curry, Dosa. Desserts were available for a nominal price. A big “Thank You” to all volunteers and participants.
