Feel for Life held their annual dinner dance last Saturday and as in previous years, the ladies organised a very successful one.
 
300 guest attended the dance. Nearly all of them in very authentic Bollywood style attire. Even the gents decided to get into the Bollywood mood and many came in traditional Indian wear. With so many beautiful couples, the camera flash was kept red hot and as a result this photo album is a bumper edition specially produced by Ozlanka with photos taken by Visal Alahendra.

Nightshift were the main band and they kept the dancers on the floor. The DJ was first class and his selection of Bollywood songs was the best heard in Sydney for a very long time. We will hear more from this DJ for sure.

The Ladies had also organised a bollywood style fashion show and many of the younger crowd did their catwalk in real style. A few budding models for sure. The fashion show was a hit and did add a lot of colour to the whole evening.

The Dance Group from Mango Dancing Academy came on stage towards the middle of the night and gave a very professional and attractive performance. The guest showed their appreciation with loud and long clapping while some of the men simply could not sit back and had to join the dancers. All great fun.

Blue Elephant undertook the catering and under owner Siva's watchful eye the service was smooth and food was superb and the general consensus was a happy one.

The profits of the night were going to a very good cause, the Lady Ridgeway Children hospital in Sri Lanka.

Their burns unit needed refurbishment and much needed maintenance. Feel For Life is planning to to do all the repairs and put new equipment in this ward. In addition they are doing a feasibility study if they can put in a fixed deposit into a trust fund in Sri Lanka and use the interests for the continued maintenance of the equipment.
