The CGTTI OBA of NSW Christmas Celebration held at the historic Berrima Church

The Ceylon German Technical Training Institute Old Boys' Association of NSW celebrated its 15 th consecutive Christmas celebration last Sunday, December 2010 at the Historic Berrima Church, at Penrose Park, alongside with Rev Fr Jude Nicholas. This is the Organisation's second celebration at Berrima after it was formed in 1995.

Children symbolised the nativity play and adults sung Christmas carols and hymns during mass which was conducted by Rev Fr Jude Nicholas. Joined by fellow churchgoers other than the few Catholics in the organisation, Mass was held in Sinhalese language for the first time in history at Berrima Church according to the priests of church. During homely he explained what the Christmas celebration's significance, its history and god's message was during the festive season.

Afterwards, the members and their families enjoyed the appetizing Christmas lunch, alongside with some Sri Lankan Rice and Curry Buffet. Later, the Children were visited by Santa and every one enjoyed his gifts.

Even though there were only a few catholic families within CGTTI OBA, they organised this celebration in the highest level with the support of other Buddhist families and shared the spirit of Christmas, Joy and Happiness during this time.
