Anandians Gala Day Out organised by Anandians of NSW & ACT was held at Fagan Park , Galston on Sunday, 27 th March 2011. It was well attended by families of past Anandians and those who were present had an enjoyable and relaxing time. A lot more Anandians could have joined this event if not for the unfavourable weather conditions and the cricket encounter between Sri Lanka vs. England which ended early Sunday morning. The participants took part in soft ball cricket, enjoyed a feast which included a BBQ and lots of food brought by the participants to share and a sing a song lead by Nimal Punchihewa. This event fulfilled the association's aim to promote goodwill among Anandians & provided them with another opportunity to socialise and have an enjoyable time.
