Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen’s Association New Zealand Inc. was very pleased that
Desmond accepted our kind invitation to stage a concert in Auckland and a dance the next day in Wellington as a fund raisers towards the worthy cause of providing scholarships to Ranaviru school children and donating artificial limbs to soldiers at Ranaviru Sevena in Sri Lanka. Desmond’s repertoire and range in music encompassed western pop, rock, oriental, baila and even semi-classic, enthralling the audiences in Auckland and Wellington by taking them to a world of music they enjoyed to their hearts content.
