The Classifieds section of Ozlanka has fallen victim to it's own popularity.

The administration of the Classified ads has become a task that we cannot handle anymore. All classifieds are checked manually to ensure they meet Australian regulations and fake ads or classifieds that offer get rich quick schemes do not get hosted by accident.

However, from about 6 months ago, we have been bombarded with classifieds offering Work From Home and other well known fraudulent advertisements.

Despite numerous notices on our Classifieds page to state that all advertisements are manually verified and posting any fake advertisements is a waste of time, people still continue to enter over 100 classifieds per week that are fake, fraudulent or contravene Australian laws.

The amount of time spent in checking each advertisement manually has now become far too much to justify the continued operation of the CLASSIFIEDS section on our website.

With regret we announce that the classifieds section will be shut down from JANUARY 10th 2010.

We thank all those who used these pages to advertise and to browse advertisements.
